FAQs

Our Home Inspection gives you a comprehensive understanding of the condition of the property across a dozen major categories: Exterior, Roof, Structure, Water Control Systems, Insulation and Ventilation, Interior, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fuel Services, Appliances and Environmental Systems. If we identify issues, we provide you with specific recommendations and next steps.

1

What is a home inspection?

How long will my inspection take?

2

Your inspection will typically last between 2-3 hours. Not including extra square footage, add on tests, and debriefing the findings. We recommend you allot at least 2 hours to the inspection.

Do I need to attend the home inspection as the buyer?

3

No, you do not need to attend the inspection. However, you are more than welcome to. The only request we have is that you allow your inspector to have space while completing the inspection, and save your questions for the beginning and/or end. Each inspector has a routine order and interrupting could cause a longer inspection and/or missed defects. We prefer you attend the inspection towards the end, where your inspector will give you a walk through and explanation of the findings and defects.

We also offer Facetime, Zoom, or phone call sessions if you are unable to attend and we will explain everything in detail as if you were there!

When will I receive my inspection report?

4

Inspections completed Monday-Friday, you can expect your inspection report within 24 hours after the completed inspection. Inspections scheduled and completed on the weekends, we ask that you allow 24-48 hours for the completed report.

Who should I bring to the home inspection?

5

You as the buyer and your realtor is all that is necessary to have at the inspection. While we are so excited for you and your new home, we ask that as little guests as possible attend the inspection as to allow adequate attention to you and your home.
